I am sure it comes as no surprise that Saturday is by far my favorite day of the week. Today was no exception. We started the day with our weekly visit to Brooklyn Water Bagels in Winter Park which I mentioned in my post from last weekend. Sawyer and I got our regular orders and enjoyed our drive across town together…. Read more »
I used to visit my friend Jon Tettambel up in New Jersey on occasion and every time I visited he would pick up these delicious bagel breakfast sandwiches that I could not wait to eat. Ever since I was introduced to that amazing Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches on an Everything bagel I have been on a quest to find… Read more »
As we awoke to our human alarm clock, the cruise ship was making it’s final crawl to Disney’s private island Castaway Cay. We were all very excited about this stop because everyone I had talked to, including Emily, said it is one of the most beautiful places around. They all could not have been more correct. As we approached the… Read more »
As with most of our vacations with Hunter, we found ourselves awakened by our personal rooster before the sun had a chance to rear its head. But this time around, Emily and I had already resigned ourselves to the schedule that is Hunter-driven! We all got showered and dressed, then made our way to the Beach Blanket Buffet, grabbed some… Read more »
Today, we excitedly departed our house in Orlando and made the 40 minute drive to Cape Canaveral to board Hunter’s and my first cruise. Although Emily is not a huge fan of the beach (even though she grew up in Sarasota, FL…????), she agreed to appease Hunter and I and accompany us to the beach. I have been known to go to the beach on occasion without much preparation and just walk and enjoy the day. Well, those of you who know Emily know… Read more »
Week four was the last week that I got to spend with Mom and Hunter before I had to go back to work. I am glad that I took time off to be around to watch this little guy grow up. From the first week he was brought into the world up through this week he has changed so much…. Read more »
Week two with Hunter Patrick Hayes was strikingly similar to week one. He has this amazing routine going now that consists of: screaming, eating, screaming, pooping, screaming, sleeping, screaming, and then screaming. Not sure how he developed this pattern so quickly, but he is automatic. Thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa Griffin who are helping us out sooooo much. Many… Read more »
Whataburger Food Review | Gainesville, FL Review – Aside from the hostile surroundings of an enemy town, our first stop for sustenance on our road trip was highly satisfying. Having heard rave reviews of Whataburger from coworkers Tina and Devonne, we were expecting to be impressed. And we were. After ordering, we were given a number and told our food… Read more »
We started out on our midwest voyage around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon, departing from Walt Disney World. Our goal was to make it through as much of Georgia as we could stay awake for. Armed with more snacks than the entire Girl Scout troop of Florida, we hit the open road! The trip through Florida was uneventful, except for the odd… Read more »
