Today we woke up to find the Easter bunny had visited our house! He left a basket of treats for Hunter and another empty basket to collect eggs from around the house. Hunter was so cute looking for the eggs, which he liked to open on the spot, spraying the contents everywhere. His favorites were the ones with jelly beans in them, which he alternately picked up and put in the basket and/or his mouth. There was nothing balanced about his breakfast this morning, unless you count chocolate and jelly beans as two different food groups (I do, but a nutritionist might argue otherwise).
After he found all the eggs, Hunter tore into the Easter basket and went straight for the candy. The basket had more eggs filled with jelly beans and he made sure he left no egg unturned. The whole thing was a lot more interactive this year than last, when he just kind of lollygagged near the basket and drooled. It was so cute to watch. Enjoy the pictures!
