In honor of the 4th of July, Hunter thought he would give one more patriotic shoutout. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Emily, who is the queen of theming, put together a really fun Father’s Day for the family. For those of you who follow along with Hayesvision (or “The Vision” as some have been known to call it), you know that we love hopping in the car and going on road trips. With that thought in mind, and since we are… Read more »
OK I have to get into this game as well. Hunter and I were having dinner and as Hunter was slamming his last bite of kineapple (pineapple to the lay person) and as he swallowed his last gulp and said “Ta Da!” in a very excited voice. I said “Who taught you ta da?” Hunter said without a pause “Alex and Taylor!” … Read more »
After traveling the entire city of Orlando in the car looking for something for dinner (long story), we ended up on the East side of town at the Mellow Mushroom. For those of you who have not had a chance to eat there, they have awesome pizza and calzones. We had a really great experience with our waiter Joey. Hunter was in… Read more »
A great end to a great day. Can’t say much that the picture doesn’t say. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there.

I would like to say we planned this week’s “Week in Three Words,” but Emily and I both had the thought at the same time while we were enjoying ourselves at the beach. It ended up being quite fitting as Hunter absolutely loved his time building sand castles. Enjoy!
Those of you who read A cloudy, fun Saturday remember that we attempted to embark on Hunter’s first roller coaster ride, only to end the event in tears as the ride was closed due to inclement weather. We decided after a couple weekends of sitting around the house due to illness, we would venture out to the Magic Kingdom in… Read more »
Hunter conquered his first roller coaster, Goofy’s Barnstormer, at the age of two! Pretty sad when your two year old son is braver than you (for those of you who don’t know me well, I am not a big fan of roller coasters). Don’t miss the video below and check out the rest of the day’s events here. [media… Read more »
Let me first say that while I do live in Orlando, I am still a tried and true Milwaukee Bucks fan. With that said since the Bucks were mathematically eliminated in the preseason, why not cheer for the home team (although I started following the team about midway through game six of the Eastern Conference Finals!). To mark the exciting time for Orlando, Hunter… Read more »
